Epidemic Simulation &
Data Service Platform

Open simulation platform for infectious disease modelling and pandemic preparedness in Germany.

EPISERVE epidemic simulation platform
Mission

Building the infrastructure for epidemic preparedness

EPISERVE develops a comprehensive, openly accessible simulation platform that seamlessly integrates models of varying granularity with a continuously updated data repository — enabling the simulation and analysis of infectious disease spread, and sustainably strengthening pandemic preparedness in Germany.

Project Goals

What we are building

Real-Time Data Integration

Integration of diverse data sources — from infection rates and viral evolution to mobility and social media — into a robust simulation environment.

Open-Access Platform

An open model repository (Model Hub) that promotes transparency and reproducibility in model-based research.

Scenario Simulations

Supporting decision-makers with detailed scenarios on non-pharmaceutical interventions, vaccination campaigns, and public health measures.

Sustainable Infrastructure

Long-term strengthening of pandemic preparedness through sustainable software and development practices.
